﴿إِذۡ هَمَّت طَّآئِفَتَانِ مِنكُمۡ أَن تَفۡشَلَا وَٱللَّهُ وَلِيُّهُمَاۗ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلۡيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ ﴾
[آل عِمران: 122]
﴿إذ همت طائفتان منكم أن تفشلا والله وليهما وعلى الله فليتوكل المؤمنون﴾ [آل عِمران: 122]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Two of your troops then lost heart, but God was their protector, and in God the believers should put their trust |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad (Remember) when two groups among you intended to be cowardly while God was their protector (and supporter), and believers should put their trust in God |
| Ali Quli Qarai When two groups among you were about to lose courage—though Allah is their guardian, and in Allah let all the faithful put their trust |
| Ali Unal When two parties of you were about to lose heart, although God was their helper and protector – and in God let the believers put all their trust |
| Hamid S Aziz When two companies of you almost fell away in cowardice but Allah was their Guardian (or Protecting Friend), for on Allah surely do believers put their trust |
| John Medows Rodwell When two troops of you became full of anxious thoughts, and lost heart, and when God became the protector of both! In God, then, let the faithful trust |
| Literal When two groups from you started/began that they weaken and become cowardly (B) , and God (is) their (B)`s guardian and on God so should rely/depend the believers |
