Quran with English translation - Surah al-‘Imran ayat 180 - آل عِمران - Page - Juz 4
﴿وَلَا يَحۡسَبَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَبۡخَلُونَ بِمَآ ءَاتَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦ هُوَ خَيۡرٗا لَّهُمۖ بَلۡ هُوَ شَرّٞ لَّهُمۡۖ سَيُطَوَّقُونَ مَا بَخِلُواْ بِهِۦ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِۗ وَلِلَّهِ مِيرَٰثُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۗ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ خَبِيرٞ ﴾
[آل عِمران: 180]
﴿ولا يحسبن الذين يبخلون بما آتاهم الله من فضله هو خيرا لهم﴾ [آل عِمران: 180]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al And let not those who greedily withhold the gifts which God has given them from His grace, think that it is good for them. No, it is bad for them. Soon the things which they withheld will be tied to their necks, on the Day of Accountability. To God belongs the origin of the heavens and the earth, and God is well acquainted with all that you do |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Those who are stingy with what God gave them from His grace should not think that it is good for them. No, it is bad for them. What they were stingy about it, is going to be around their necks on the resurrection day. And inheritance of the skies and the earth belongs to God. And God is well aware of what you do |
| Ali Quli Qarai Let the stingy not suppose that [their grudging] what Allah has given them out of His bounty is good for them; no, it is bad for them. They will be collared with what they grudge on the Day of Resurrection. To Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth, and Allah is well aware of what you do |
| Ali Unal Let not those who are niggardly with what God has granted them out of His bounty think that it is good for them: rather, it is bad for them. What they are niggardly with, they will have it hung about their necks on the Day of Resurrection. (Why are they niggardly, seeing that to God belongs the absolute ownership of the heavens and the earth, and) He will inherit them in the end. And God is fully aware of all that you do |
