﴿قُلۡ يَٰٓأَهۡلَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ تَعَالَوۡاْ إِلَىٰ كَلِمَةٖ سَوَآءِۭ بَيۡنَنَا وَبَيۡنَكُمۡ أَلَّا نَعۡبُدَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهَ وَلَا نُشۡرِكَ بِهِۦ شَيۡـٔٗا وَلَا يَتَّخِذَ بَعۡضُنَا بَعۡضًا أَرۡبَابٗا مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِۚ فَإِن تَوَلَّوۡاْ فَقُولُواْ ٱشۡهَدُواْ بِأَنَّا مُسۡلِمُونَ ﴾
[آل عِمران: 64]
﴿قل ياأهل الكتاب تعالوا إلى كلمة سواء بيننا وبينكم ألا نعبد إلا﴾ [آل عِمران: 64]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Say, “O people of the Book, come to an agreement with us, that we worship none but God, that we associate no partners with him, that we do not erect from among ourselves lords other than God.” If they then turn back say, “Bear witness that we are Muslims.” |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Say: people of the book, come to a word that is common between us and between you, (which is) do not serve anything but God, and do not make anything (or anyone) His partner, and some of us do not take others as our masters besides God. And if they refuse, then say: be witness that we are submitted (to God) |
| Ali Quli Qarai Say, ‘O People of the Book! Come to a common word between us and you: that we will worship no one but Allah, that we will not ascribe any partner to Him, and that some of us will not take some others as lords besides Allah.’ But if they turn away, say, ‘Be witnesses that we have submitted [to Allah].’ |
| Ali Unal Say (to them, O Messenger): "O People of the Book, come to a word common between us and you, that we worship none but God, and associate none as partner with Him, and that none of us take others for Lords, apart from God." If they (still) turn away, then say: "Bear witness that we are Muslims (submitted to Him exclusively) |

| John Medows Rodwell SAY: O people of the Book! come ye to a just judgment between us and you - That we worship not aught but God, and that we join no other god with Him, and that the one of us take not the other for lords, beside God. Then if they turn their backs, SAY: Bear ye witness that we are Muslims |
| Literal Say: "You people (of) The Book, come to a word equal/straight, between us and you, that we do not worship except God, and we do not share/make partners with Him a thing, and (we) do not take some of us, some (as) lords from other than God." So if they turned away, so say: "Witness/testify with that (we are) submitters/surrenderers/Moslems |
| Mir Anees Original Say, "O owners of the book! come to an equitable word between us and you, that we will not serve (worship) anyone except Allah and we will not associate any partner with Him and some of us will not take others as fosterers, besides Allah." But if they turn away, then say, "Bear witness that we are those who have submitted (as Muslims) |
