﴿مَن كَفَرَ فَعَلَيۡهِ كُفۡرُهُۥۖ وَمَنۡ عَمِلَ صَٰلِحٗا فَلِأَنفُسِهِمۡ يَمۡهَدُونَ ﴾ 
[الرُّوم: 44]
﴿من كفر فعليه كفره ومن عمل صالحا فلأنفسهم يمهدون﴾ [الرُّوم: 44]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Those who do not believe will suffer from that rejection, and those who work righteousness, they are preparing | 
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Anyone who disbelieves, then his disbelief is against him, and anyone who does good works, then they are provisioning (a good reward) for themselves | 
| Ali Quli Qarai Whoever is faithless shall face the consequences of his faithlessness, and those who act righteously only prepare for their own souls | 
| Ali Unal Whoever disbelieves, his unbelief is charged against him. Whereas those who (believe and) do good, righteous deeds, they make provision for themselves (of a happy, everlasting life) | 
| Hamid S Aziz Whoever disbelieves, must bear the consequences for his disbelief, and whoever does good makes provision for his own soul | 
| John Medows Rodwell Unbelievers on whom shall be their unbelief; and they who have wrought righteousness, and prepared for themselves couches of repose | 
| Literal Who disbelieved, so on him (is) his disbelief, and who made/did correct/righteous deeds, so to them selves they are preparing/paving | 
| Mir Anees Original Whoever rejects (the truth), then on him is (the responsibility of) his rejection, and whoever does righteous work, then they prepare a (good) habitation for themselves |
