﴿ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِي يُرۡسِلُ ٱلرِّيَٰحَ فَتُثِيرُ سَحَابٗا فَيَبۡسُطُهُۥ فِي ٱلسَّمَآءِ كَيۡفَ يَشَآءُ وَيَجۡعَلُهُۥ كِسَفٗا فَتَرَى ٱلۡوَدۡقَ يَخۡرُجُ مِنۡ خِلَٰلِهِۦۖ فَإِذَآ أَصَابَ بِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِۦٓ إِذَا هُمۡ يَسۡتَبۡشِرُونَ ﴾

﴿الله الذي يرسل الرياح فتثير سحابا فيبسطه في السماء كيف يشاء ويجعله﴾ [الرُّوم: 48]
Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al It is God Who sends the winds, and they raise the clouds. Then He spreads them in the sky as He wills, and breaks them into fragments, until you see raindrops issue from the middle of it. Then when He has made them reach those of His servants that He wills behold, they rejoice |
Ali Bakhtiari Nejad God is the One who sends the winds to stir up (and raise) cloud, then He spreads it in the sky as He wants, and He makes it into pieces, then you see raindrops coming out from within it, then when He makes it fall on any of His servants that He wants, then they become cheerful |
Ali Quli Qarai It is Allah who sends the winds. Then they generate a cloud, then He spreads it as He wishes in the sky, and forms it into fragments, whereat you see the rain issuing from its midst. Then, when He strikes with it whomever of His servants that He wishes, behold, they rejoice |
Ali Unal God is He Who sends forth the merciful winds, so that they set clouds to move, and He spreads them in the heaven in the manner that He wills, and makes them aggregated particles, and there! you see rain issue issuing from their midst. When He has caused it to fall on such of His servants as He wills, they rejoice |
Hamid S Aziz Allah is he Who sends forth the winds so they raise a cloud, then He spreads it forth in the sky as He pleases, and He breaks it up so that you see the rain coming forth from within it; then when He causes it to fall upon whom He pleases of His servants |
John Medows Rodwell It is God who sendeth the winds and uplifteth the clouds, and, as He pleaseth, spreadeth them on high, and breaketh them up; and thou mayest see the rain issuing from their midst; and when He poureth it down on such of his servants as He pleaseth, lo! they are filled with joy |
Literal God is who sends the winds/breezes so it spreads/agitates clouds, so He spreads/extends it in the sky how He wills/wants, and He makes it pieces, so you see the rain appears/emerges from in between and around it, so when He struck with it whom He wills/wants from His worshippers/slaves , then they are announcing good news/cheerful |
Mir Anees Original It is Allah who sends the winds, so they raise the cloud, then He spreads it in the sky as He wills makes it (into) pieces, then you see the rain coming out from the spaces in between it, then when makes it to fall on whom he wills of His servants, then they rejoice |
