Quran with English translation - Surah Ar-Rum ayat 56 - الرُّوم - Page - Juz 21
﴿وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡعِلۡمَ وَٱلۡإِيمَٰنَ لَقَدۡ لَبِثۡتُمۡ فِي كِتَٰبِ ٱللَّهِ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡبَعۡثِۖ فَهَٰذَا يَوۡمُ ٱلۡبَعۡثِ وَلَٰكِنَّكُمۡ كُنتُمۡ لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ ﴾
[الرُّوم: 56]
﴿وقال الذين أوتوا العلم والإيمان لقد لبثتم في كتاب الله إلى يوم﴾ [الرُّوم: 56]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al But those endued with knowledge and faith will say, “Indeed you did stay, within God's decree, until the Day of Resurrection, and this is the Day of Resurrection, but you, you were not aware.” |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And those who were given the knowledge and the belief say: you have certainly stayed until the resurrection day according to God’s book (and His mandate), so this is the resurrection day, but you did not know |
| Ali Quli Qarai But those who were given knowledge and faith will say, ‘Certainly you remained in Allah’s Book until the Day of Resurrection. This is the Day of Resurrection, but you did not know.’ |
| Ali Unal But those who were endowed with knowledge (of the truth) and faith say: "For certain, you have stayed until the Day of Raising according to how God decreed in His Book (of Creation and Life). And now this is the Day of Raising but you were (persistent in) refusing true knowledge (about it) |
| Hamid S Aziz And those who are given knowledge and faith will say, "Certainly (indeed, in truth) you tarried according to the ordinance of Allah till the Day of Resurrection, so this is the Day of Resurrection, but you were not aware |
| John Medows Rodwell But they to whom knowledge and faith have been given will say, "Ye have waited, in accordance with the book of God, till the day of Resurrection: for this is the day of the Resurrection - but ye knew it not |
| Literal And those who were given/brought the knowledge and the faith/belief said: "You had stayed/remained in God`s term/fate/destiny Book to the Revival Day/Resurrection Day, so this (is) the Revival Day/Resurrection Day, and but you were not knowing |
| Mir Anees Original But those who are given knowledge and belief will say, “According to the record of Allah you indeed stayed till the day of resurrection, and this is the day of resurrection, but you, you did not (bother know.”) |
| Mir Aneesuddin But those who are given knowledge and belief will say, “According to the record of God you indeed stayed till the day of resurrection, and this is the day of resurrection, but you, you did not (bother know.”) |
