﴿وَيَوۡمَ تَقُومُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ يُقۡسِمُ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ مَا لَبِثُواْ غَيۡرَ سَاعَةٖۚ كَذَٰلِكَ كَانُواْ يُؤۡفَكُونَ ﴾
[الرُّوم: 55]
﴿ويوم تقوم الساعة يقسم المجرمون ما لبثوا غير ساعة كذلك كانوا يؤفكون﴾ [الرُّوم: 55]
Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al On the day that the Hour of reckoning will be established, the transgressors will swear that they stayed only an hour. So were they used to being deluded |
Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And on a day that the hour establishes, the guilty ones swear that they only stayed (dead) for an hour. That is how they used to deviate |
Ali Quli Qarai On the day when the Hour sets in, the guilty will swear that they had remained only for an hour. That is how they were used to lying [in the world] |
Ali Unal When the Last Hour stands forth and the Judgment is established, the disbelieving criminals swear that they stayed in the world no longer than a short while (of the day). Thus were they habitually turned away from the truth, (having always depended on their sense-perceptions, false reasoning and defective knowledge) |
