Quran with English translation - Surah Al-Ahzab ayat 14 - الأحزَاب - Page - Juz 21
﴿وَلَوۡ دُخِلَتۡ عَلَيۡهِم مِّنۡ أَقۡطَارِهَا ثُمَّ سُئِلُواْ ٱلۡفِتۡنَةَ لَأٓتَوۡهَا وَمَا تَلَبَّثُواْ بِهَآ إِلَّا يَسِيرٗا ﴾
[الأحزَاب: 14]
﴿ولو دخلت عليهم من أقطارها ثم سئلوا الفتنة لآتوها وما تلبثوا بها﴾ [الأحزَاب: 14]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al And if an entry had been made for them from the sides of the city, and they had been incited to sedition, they would certainly have brought it to pass, with only a brief delay |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And if they (the enemy) had entered upon them from its boroughs and they were asked for the disloyalty, they would have certainly done it, and they would have only hesitated a little |
| Ali Quli Qarai Had they been invaded from its flanks and had they been asked to apostatize, they would have done so with only a mild hesitation |
| Ali Unal Now if they (and their houses) had been invaded from all sides (of the city) and they had been asked to betray (their faith), they would certainly have done so with but little hesitation |
| Hamid S Aziz And if the enemy had entered upon them from the outlying parts of it, and they had been exhorted to treachery, they would certainly have done it, and they would have hesitated but little |
