Quran with English translation - Surah Al-Ahzab ayat 49 - الأحزَاب - Page - Juz 22
﴿يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِذَا نَكَحۡتُمُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِ ثُمَّ طَلَّقۡتُمُوهُنَّ مِن قَبۡلِ أَن تَمَسُّوهُنَّ فَمَا لَكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِنَّ مِنۡ عِدَّةٖ تَعۡتَدُّونَهَاۖ فَمَتِّعُوهُنَّ وَسَرِّحُوهُنَّ سَرَاحٗا جَمِيلٗا ﴾
[الأحزَاب: 49]
﴿ياأيها الذين آمنوا إذا نكحتم المؤمنات ثم طلقتموهن من قبل أن تمسوهن﴾ [الأحزَاب: 49]
Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al O you who believe, when you marry believing women, and then divorce them before you have touched them, no period of ‘iddat have you to count concerning them. But give them a gift, and then let them go |
Ali Bakhtiari Nejad You who believe, when you marry the believing women and then divorce them before you touch them, then they are not responsible for any waiting period for you that you count it, so compensate them and let them go free, a nice leaving |
Ali Quli Qarai O you who have faith! When you marry faithful women and then divorce them before you touch them, there shall be no period for you to reckon. But provide for them and release them in a graceful manner |
Ali Unal O you who believe! When you have made a marriage contract with any of the believing women (including those belonging to the People of the Book), and then divorce them before you have touched them, you have no reason to ask them to observe any waiting-period for you. Make some provision for them and release them in fair manner |
Hamid S Aziz O you who believe! When you marry the believing women, and then divorce them before you touch them, then you have in their case no term (of waiting) to reckon; so make some provision for them and send them forth in a goodly manner |
