Quran with English translation - Surah Saba’ ayat 41 - سَبإ - Page - Juz 22
﴿قَالُواْ سُبۡحَٰنَكَ أَنتَ وَلِيُّنَا مِن دُونِهِمۖ بَلۡ كَانُواْ يَعۡبُدُونَ ٱلۡجِنَّۖ أَكۡثَرُهُم بِهِم مُّؤۡمِنُونَ ﴾
[سَبإ: 41]
﴿قالوا سبحانك أنت ولينا من دونهم بل كانوا يعبدون الجن أكثرهم بهم﴾ [سَبإ: 41]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al They will say, “Glory to You, Our tie is with You as a Protector, not with them. No, but they worshipped the jinn. Most of them believed in them.” |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad They say: Glory to You (You are flawless), You are our protector, not them, no but they used to serve the Jinn, and most of them were believers in them |
| Ali Quli Qarai They will say, ‘Immaculate are You! You are our wali, not they! No, they used to worship the jinn; most of them had faith in them.’ |
| Ali Unal They will answer: "All-Glorified You are (in that You are absolutely above having partners). You alone are our Guardian (Whom We worship,) having no such relation with them." Rather, they were worshipping jinn; most of them believed in them (jinn as beings deserving worship) |
| Hamid S Aziz They shall say, "Glory be to Thee! Thou art our Guardian, not they; nay! they worshipped the Jinn; most of them were believers in them |
| John Medows Rodwell They shall say, "Glory be to thee! Thou art our master, not these! But they worshipped the Djinn: it was in them that most of them believed |
| Literal They said: "Your praise/glory; you are our guardian/ally from other than them, but they were worshipping the Jinns , most of them with them (are) believing |
| Mir Anees Original They will say, “Glory be to You, You are our Guardian not they, no, they used to worship the jinn, most of them were believers in them.” |
