﴿وَٱتَّخَذُواْ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ءَالِهَةٗ لَّعَلَّهُمۡ يُنصَرُونَ ﴾
[يسٓ: 74]
﴿واتخذوا من دون الله آلهة لعلهم ينصرون﴾ [يسٓ: 74]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Yet they take for worship gods other than God, thinking that they might be helped |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And they took gods other than God so that they may be helped |
| Ali Quli Qarai They have taken gods besides Allah, [hoping] that they might be helped [by the fake deities] |
| Ali Unal Yet they have taken deities for worship apart from God, (expecting) that they may receive help (from them) |
| Hamid S Aziz And they have taken gods besides Allah that they may be helped |
| John Medows Rodwell Yet have they taken other gods beside God that they might be helpful to them |
| Literal And they took from other than God, gods, maybe/perhaps they be given victory/aid |
