Quran with English translation - Surah Az-Zumar ayat 41 - الزُّمَر - Page - Juz 24
﴿إِنَّآ أَنزَلۡنَا عَلَيۡكَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ لِلنَّاسِ بِٱلۡحَقِّۖ فَمَنِ ٱهۡتَدَىٰ فَلِنَفۡسِهِۦۖ وَمَن ضَلَّ فَإِنَّمَا يَضِلُّ عَلَيۡهَاۖ وَمَآ أَنتَ عَلَيۡهِم بِوَكِيلٍ ﴾
[الزُّمَر: 41]
﴿إنا أنـزلنا عليك الكتاب للناس بالحق فمن اهتدى فلنفسه ومن ضل فإنما﴾ [الزُّمَر: 41]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Indeed We have revealed the Book to you in truth for humanity. So he who receives guidance benefits his own soul, but he who strays, harms his own soul, nor are you set over them to manage their affairs |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Indeed We sent down the book to you with the truth for the people. So whoever is guided, it is for himself (and for his own benefit) and whoever loses (the right path) the he only makes a mistake against himself, and you are not their advocate |
| Ali Quli Qarai Indeed We have sent down the Book to you with the truth for [the deliverance of] mankind. So whoever is guided is guided for his own sake, and whoever goes astray, goes astray to his own detriment, and it is not your duty to watch over them |
| Ali Unal Surely We have sent down the Book to you with the truth for humankind (embodying the truth, and with no falsehood in it). So, whoever chooses to go right, it is for his own soul’s good; and whoever chooses to go astray, goes astray but to its own harm. You are not one appointed as a guardian over them (to assume their responsibility for going right) |
| Hamid S Aziz Verily, We have revealed to you the Book with the truth for the sake of mankind; so whoever follows the right way, it is for the good of his own soul and whoever errs, he errs only to its injury; and you are not a custodian over them |
| John Medows Rodwell Assuredly we have sent down the Book to thee for man and for the ends of truth. Whoso shall be guided by it - it will be for his own advantage, and whoso shall err, shall only err to his own loss. But not to thy keeping are they entrusted |
| Literal We (E) descended on (to) you The Book for the people with the truth , so who guided, so to himself, and who misguided so but he misguides on it, and you are not then with a guardian/protector/trustee |
| Mir Anees Original We have sent down to you the book containing the truth, for mankind, so one who receives guidance, then (the benefit of) it is for his ownself, and one who goes astray, then (the loss of) his going astray is only on him, and you are not a trustee over them |
