﴿وَلَوۡلَا فَضۡلُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيۡكَ وَرَحۡمَتُهُۥ لَهَمَّت طَّآئِفَةٞ مِّنۡهُمۡ أَن يُضِلُّوكَ وَمَا يُضِلُّونَ إِلَّآ أَنفُسَهُمۡۖ وَمَا يَضُرُّونَكَ مِن شَيۡءٖۚ وَأَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡكَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَٱلۡحِكۡمَةَ وَعَلَّمَكَ مَا لَمۡ تَكُن تَعۡلَمُۚ وَكَانَ فَضۡلُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيۡكَ عَظِيمٗا ﴾
[النِّسَاء: 113]
﴿ولولا فضل الله عليك ورحمته لهمت طائفة منهم أن يضلوك وما يضلون﴾ [النِّسَاء: 113]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al But for the grace of God to you and His mercy, a group of them would certainly have led you astray. But in fact, they will only lead themselves astray, and to you they can do no harm in the least. Because God has sent down to you the Book and the Wisdom, and taught you what you knew not. And great is the grace of God to you |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And if it was not for God’s grace and mercy upon you (Muhammad), a group of them intended to misguide you, whereas they only misguide themselves, and do not harm you at all. And God sent down the book and wisdom to you and taught you what you did not know. And God’s grace upon you is great |
| Ali Quli Qarai Were it not for Allah’s grace and His mercy on you, a group of them were bent on leading you astray; but they do not mislead anyone except themselves, and they cannot do you any harm. Allah has sent down to you the Book and wisdom, and He has taught you what you did not know, and great is Allah’s grace upon you |
| Ali Unal But for God’s grace and favor upon you and His mercy, one party of them determined to mislead you, yet they mislead none but themselves, and cannot harm you in any way. (How could they do so, seeing that) God has sent down on you the Book and the Wisdom, and taught you what you did not know. God’s grace and favor upon you is tremendous indeed |
