﴿وَلۡيَخۡشَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَوۡ تَرَكُواْ مِنۡ خَلۡفِهِمۡ ذُرِّيَّةٗ ضِعَٰفًا خَافُواْ عَلَيۡهِمۡ فَلۡيَتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَلۡيَقُولُواْ قَوۡلٗا سَدِيدًا ﴾
[النِّسَاء: 9]
﴿وليخش الذين لو تركوا من خلفهم ذرية ضعافا خافوا عليهم فليتقوا الله﴾ [النِّسَاء: 9]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Let those disposing of an estate have the same considerations in mind as they would if they had left their own dependents behind. Let them also consider God, and speak words that are appropriate |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Those should fear, whom if they leave helpless offspring behind them, they would be afraid about them, so they should be cautious of God and they should say right (and appropriate) word |
| Ali Quli Qarai Let those fear [the result of mistreating orphans] who, were they to leave behind weak offspring, would be concerned on their account. So let them be wary of Allah, and let them speak upright words |
| Ali Unal Let those fear (be anxious for the rights of the orphans) who, if they (themselves) were to leave behind weak offspring, would be fearful on their account – and let them keep from disobedience to God for fear of His punishment, and let them speak the truth and proper words (in respect of the division of the inheritance and their treatment of the orphans) |
| Hamid S Aziz And let those disposing of the property have the same fear as they would have had they left behind offsprings of their own. Let them fear Allah, and speak appropriately (with consideration) |
