﴿ثُمَّ جَعَلۡنَٰكَ عَلَىٰ شَرِيعَةٖ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَمۡرِ فَٱتَّبِعۡهَا وَلَا تَتَّبِعۡ أَهۡوَآءَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ ﴾
[الجاثِية: 18]
﴿ثم جعلناك على شريعة من الأمر فاتبعها ولا تتبع أهواء الذين لا﴾ [الجاثِية: 18]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Then We put you in the best way of life. So follow that way, and do not follow the desires of those who know not |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Then We put you on a legislation of the affair (of religion), so follow it and do not follow the desires of those who do not know |
| Ali Quli Qarai Then We set you upon a clear course of the Law; so follow it, and do not follow the desires of those who do not know |
| Ali Unal Thereafter (in this conclusive Revelation) We have set you on a way of life (Shari‘ah) based on the Religion, so follow it and do not follow the lusts and fancies of those who do not know (the Divine Guidance) |
| Hamid S Aziz And now have We set you on a clear course in (religious) affairs, therefore follow it, and do not follow the low desires of those who know not |
| John Medows Rodwell Afterwards we set thee over our divine law: follow it then: and follow not the wishes of those who have no knowledge |
| Literal Then We made/put you on God`s decreed way of life from the order/command so follow it, and do not follow (the) self attractions for desires (of) those who do not know |
