Quran with English translation - Surah Al-hadid ayat 16 - الحدِيد - Page - Juz 27
﴿۞ أَلَمۡ يَأۡنِ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ أَن تَخۡشَعَ قُلُوبُهُمۡ لِذِكۡرِ ٱللَّهِ وَمَا نَزَلَ مِنَ ٱلۡحَقِّ وَلَا يَكُونُواْ كَٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ مِن قَبۡلُ فَطَالَ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلۡأَمَدُ فَقَسَتۡ قُلُوبُهُمۡۖ وَكَثِيرٞ مِّنۡهُمۡ فَٰسِقُونَ ﴾
[الحدِيد: 16]
﴿ألم يأن للذين آمنوا أن تخشع قلوبهم لذكر الله وما نـزل من﴾ [الحدِيد: 16]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Has not the time arrived for the believers, that their hearts, with all humility, should engage in the remembrance of God and of the truth which has been revealed, and that they should not become like those to whom was given revelation? But long ages passed over them and their hearts grew hard. For many among them are rebellious transgressors |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Is it not about time for those who believed to humble their hearts for God’s remembrance and what came down from the truth, and do not be like those who were given the book in the past, and then after some time passed for them their hearts hardened and many of them were disobedient |
