Quran with English translation - Surah Al-hashr ayat 7 - الحَشر - Page - Juz 28
﴿مَّآ أَفَآءَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِۦ مِنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡقُرَىٰ فَلِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ وَلِذِي ٱلۡقُرۡبَىٰ وَٱلۡيَتَٰمَىٰ وَٱلۡمَسَٰكِينِ وَٱبۡنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ كَيۡ لَا يَكُونَ دُولَةَۢ بَيۡنَ ٱلۡأَغۡنِيَآءِ مِنكُمۡۚ وَمَآ ءَاتَىٰكُمُ ٱلرَّسُولُ فَخُذُوهُ وَمَا نَهَىٰكُمۡ عَنۡهُ فَٱنتَهُواْۚ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ شَدِيدُ ٱلۡعِقَابِ ﴾
[الحَشر: 7]
﴿ما أفاء الله على رسوله من أهل القرى فلله وللرسول ولذي القربى﴾ [الحَشر: 7]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al What God has bestowed on His messenger from the people of the townships belongs to God, His messenger, to family and orphans, the needy, and to displaced persons, in order that it may not circulate between the wealthy among you. So take what the messenger assigns to you, and deny yourselves that which he withholds from you. And be conscious of God, for God is strict in punishment |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And whatever God gave to His messenger as spoil from people of the towns is for God and for the messenger and for the relatives (and close ones) and the orphans and the needy and the traveler (in need) so that it does not circulate between the rich among you. And whatever the messenger gave you then take it, and whatever he held you back from it then stay away from it, and be cautious of God. God is indeed severe in the punishment |
| Ali Quli Qarai The spoils that Allah gave to His Apostle from the people of the townships, are for Allah and the Apostle, the relatives and the orphans, the needy and the traveller, so that they do not circulate among the rich among you. Take whatever the Apostle gives you, and refrain from whatever he forbids you, and be wary of Allah. Indeed Allah is severe in retribution |
| Ali Unal What God has bestowed on His Messenger as gains of war from the peoples of the townships: (one-fifth of) it belongs to God, and to the Messenger, and his near kinsfolk, and orphans, and the destitute, and the wayfarer (lacking means to sustain a journey), so that it should not become a fortune circulating among the rich among you. Whatever the Messenger gives you accept it willingly, and whatever he forbids you, refrain from it. Keep from disobedience to God in reverence for Him and piety. Surely God is severe in retribution |
| Hamid S Aziz Whatever Allah has bestowed (as advantage or booty) to His Messenger from the people of the towns, it is for Allah and for the Messenger, and for the near of kin and the orphans and the needy and the wayfarer, so that it may not be a thing taken by turns |
| John Medows Rodwell The spoil taken from the people of the towns and assigned by God to his apostle, belongeth to God, and to the apostle, and to his kindred, and to the orphan, and to the poor, and to the wayfarer, that none of it may circulate among such of you only as are rich: What the apostle hath given you, take: What he hath refused you, refuse: And fear ye God, for God is severe in punishing |
| Literal What God bestowed upon/gave spoils of war on His messenger from the villages`/urban cities` people , so (it is) to God and the messenger, and to of the relations/near, and the orphans , and the poorest of poor/poor oppressed, and the traveler/stranded traveler, in order that (it) not be a rotation/alternation between the rich from you, and what the messenger gave you , so take/receive it , and what he forbid/prevented you from it, so terminate/stop , and fear and obey God, so that truly God (is) strong (severe in) the punishment |
| Mir Anees Original Whatever Allah made His messenger to take from the people of the towns, it is for Allah and for His messenger and for the possessors of relationship and the orphans and the needy and the wayfarer, so that the (wealth) may not become an item of circulation (only) between the rich among you. And take that which the messenger gives you and that which he withholds from you, you (too) withhold (yourselves from it), and fear Allah, Allah is certainly severe in requiting |
| Mir Aneesuddin Whatever God made His messenger to take from the people of the towns, it is for God and for His messenger and for the possessors of relationship and the orphans and the needy and the wayfarer, so that the (wealth) may not become an item of circulation (only) between the rich among you. And take that which the messenger gives you and that which he withholds from you, you (too) withhold (yourselves from it), and fear God, God is certainly severe in requiting |
