Quran with English translation - Surah Al-An‘am ayat 130 - الأنعَام - Page - Juz 8
﴿يَٰمَعۡشَرَ ٱلۡجِنِّ وَٱلۡإِنسِ أَلَمۡ يَأۡتِكُمۡ رُسُلٞ مِّنكُمۡ يَقُصُّونَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ ءَايَٰتِي وَيُنذِرُونَكُمۡ لِقَآءَ يَوۡمِكُمۡ هَٰذَاۚ قَالُواْ شَهِدۡنَا عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِنَاۖ وَغَرَّتۡهُمُ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَشَهِدُواْ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِهِمۡ أَنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ كَٰفِرِينَ ﴾
[الأنعَام: 130]
﴿يامعشر الجن والإنس ألم يأتكم رسل منكم يقصون عليكم آياتي وينذرونكم لقاء﴾ [الأنعَام: 130]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al “O you assembly of jinn and humans, did there not come to you messengers from among you, relating to you My signs, and warning you of the meeting of this day of yours?” They will say, “We bear witness against ourselves.” The life of the present deceived them. So against themselves will they bear witness that they rejected faith |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad You clan of Jinn and humans, did not messengers from among you come to you telling you My signs, and warning you about the meeting of this day of yours? They say: we testify against ourselves. And this world's life deceived them, and they testify against themselves that they were disbelievers |
| Ali Quli Qarai ‘O company of jinn and humans! Did there not come to you apostles from yourselves, recounting to you My signs and warning you of the encounter of this Day?’ They will say, ‘We testify against ourselves.’ The life of this world had deceived them, and they will testify against themselves that they had been faithless |
| Ali Unal O assembly of the jinn and humankind! Did there never come to you Messengers from among yourselves, relating to you My signs and Revelations, and warning you of encountering this Day of yours?" They say: "We bear witness against ourselves." The life of the world had deluded them, and (just as their speeches and actions in the world testified to their unbelief, so) they have borne witness against themselves that they were unbelievers |
| Hamid S Aziz O assembly of jinn and men! Did there not come to you Messengers of your own (or from amongst you), relating to you Our Signs, and warning you of the meeting of this Day? They will say, "We bear witness against ourselves." The life of this world |
| John Medows Rodwell O race of Djinn and men! came not apostles to you from among yourselves, rehearsing my signs to you, and warning you of the meeting of this your day? They shall say, "We bear witness against ourselves." This world's life deceived them; and they shall bear witness against themselves that they were infidels |
| Literal You the Jinn`s and the human`s race , did not messengers from you come to you, they relay/inform on you My verses/evidences and warn you (of) this your day`s/time`s meeting (your meeting at this day/time)? They said: "We witnessed/testified on our selves." And the life the present/worldly life had deceived/tempted them, and they witnessed/testified on themselves that they were disbelieving |
| Mir Anees Original O assembly of jinn and human beings ! did there not come to you messengers from among you, narrating to you My signs and warning you of the meeting of this day of yours?" They will say, "We bear witness against ourselves." And the life of this world deceived them and they will bear witness against themselves that they used to be infidels |
| Mir Aneesuddin O assembly of jinn and human beings ! did there not come to you messengers from among you, narrating to you My signs and warning you of the meeting of this day of yours?"
