Quran with English translation - Surah Al-An‘am ayat 146 - الأنعَام - Page - Juz 8
﴿وَعَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ هَادُواْ حَرَّمۡنَا كُلَّ ذِي ظُفُرٖۖ وَمِنَ ٱلۡبَقَرِ وَٱلۡغَنَمِ حَرَّمۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ شُحُومَهُمَآ إِلَّا مَا حَمَلَتۡ ظُهُورُهُمَآ أَوِ ٱلۡحَوَايَآ أَوۡ مَا ٱخۡتَلَطَ بِعَظۡمٖۚ ذَٰلِكَ جَزَيۡنَٰهُم بِبَغۡيِهِمۡۖ وَإِنَّا لَصَٰدِقُونَ ﴾
[الأنعَام: 146]
﴿وعلى الذين هادوا حرمنا كل ذي ظفر ومن البقر والغنم حرمنا عليهم﴾ [الأنعَام: 146]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al For those who were Jewish, We made forbidden every animal with an undivided hoof. And We made forbidden to them fat of the ox and the sheep, except what adheres to their backs or their entrails, or what is mixed up with bone. That is their reward for their outright rejection, for indeed We are truthful |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And to those who are Jewish, We forbade everything that have claws, and from the cows and from the sheep We forbade them their fat except what their backs carried or the intestines or what is mixed with bone. That is how We punished them for their aggression and We are certainly truthful |
| Ali Quli Qarai To the Jews We forbade every animal having an undivided hoof, and of oxen and sheep We forbade them their fat, except what is borne by their backs or the entrails, or what is attached to the bones. We requited them with that for their rebelliousness, and We indeed speak the truth |

| Literal And on those who repented/guided/(the Jews), We forbade every (thing) of nails/claws , and from the cows and the sheep and goats , We forbade on them their (B)`s fat/grease, except what their (B)`s backs bore , or the intestines/guts , or what (was) mixed/mingled with bones, that We rewarded/reimbursed them because of their oppression/transgression, and We are truthful (E) |
