Quran with English translation - Surah Al-Qalam ayat 49 - القَلَم - Page - Juz 29
﴿لَّوۡلَآ أَن تَدَٰرَكَهُۥ نِعۡمَةٞ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦ لَنُبِذَ بِٱلۡعَرَآءِ وَهُوَ مَذۡمُومٞ ﴾
[القَلَم: 49]
﴿لولا أن تداركه نعمة من ربه لنبذ بالعراء وهو مذموم﴾ [القَلَم: 49]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Had grace from his Lord not reached him he would indeed have been cast up on the naked shore in disgrace |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad If it was not for a favor from his Master that had reached him, he would have been thrown to the desert shore while he was condemned |
| Ali Quli Qarai Had it not been for a blessing that came to his rescue from his Lord, he would surely have been cast on the bare shore, being blameworthy |
| Ali Unal If there had not reached him grace from his Lord (Who accepted his repentance), he would indeed have been cast forth on the desert shore, being reproached |
| Hamid S Aziz Were it not that favour from his Lord had reached him, he would certainly have been cast down upon the naked shore while he was blameworthy |
| John Medows Rodwell Had not favour from his Lord reached him, cast forth would he have been on the naked shore, overwhelmed with shame |
| Literal Had it not been for a blessing/goodness from his Lord, (that) caught up (to)/reached him , he would have been discarded/cast off at the open/space, and he is blamed/defamed |
| Mir Anees Original Had the favour of his Fosterer not reached him, he would have been (left) cast on the naked shore while he was blamed |
| Mir Aneesuddin Had the favour of his Lord not reached him, he would have been (left) cast on the naked shore while he was blamed |
