﴿فَعَصَوۡاْ رَسُولَ رَبِّهِمۡ فَأَخَذَهُمۡ أَخۡذَةٗ رَّابِيَةً ﴾
[الحَاقة: 10]
﴿فعصوا رسول ربهم فأخذهم أخذة رابية﴾ [الحَاقة: 10]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al And they did not follow the messenger of their Lord, so He punished them with a sufficient penalty |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Then they disobeyed their Master's messenger, so He took them (into punishment), an increasing punishment |
| Ali Quli Qarai They disobeyed the apostle of their Lord, so He seized them with a terrible seizing |
| Ali Unal And they rebelled against their Lord’s Messenger (sent to each to warn them), and so He took hold of them with a severe seizing |
| Hamid S Aziz And they disobeyed the Messengers of their Lord, so He punished them with a severe punishment |
| John Medows Rodwell And disobeyed the Sent one of their Lord; therefore did he chastise them with an accumulated chastisement |
| Literal So they disobeyed their Lord`s messenger, so He punished them an increased spellbinding (devastating) punishment |
