﴿قَالُوٓاْ أَرۡجِهۡ وَأَخَاهُ وَأَرۡسِلۡ فِي ٱلۡمَدَآئِنِ حَٰشِرِينَ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 111]
﴿قالوا أرجه وأخاه وأرسل في المدائن حاشرين﴾ [الأعرَاف: 111]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al They said, “Keep him and his brother in suspense, and send to the cities, people to collect |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad They said: put him and his brother off (for a while) and send gatherers to the cities |
| Ali Quli Qarai They said, ‘Put him and his brother off for a while, and send heralds to the cities |
| Ali Unal They said (to the Pharaoh): "Put him and his brother off for a while, and (in the meantime) send forth heralds to all cities |
| Hamid S Aziz They said, "Delay him and his brother, and send summoners into the cities |
| John Medows Rodwell They said, "Put him and his brother off awhile, and send round men to your cities who shall muster |
| Literal They said: "Delay/postpone him and his brother and send in the cities/towns gatherers |
| Mir Anees Original They said, "Keep him and his brother (waiting in) hope, meanwhile send collectors into the cities |
