Quran with English translation - Surah Al-A‘raf ayat 23 - الأعرَاف - Page - Juz 8
﴿قَالَا رَبَّنَا ظَلَمۡنَآ أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَّمۡ تَغۡفِرۡ لَنَا وَتَرۡحَمۡنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلۡخَٰسِرِينَ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 23]
﴿قالا ربنا ظلمنا أنفسنا وإن لم تغفر لنا وترحمنا لنكونن من الخاسرين﴾ [الأعرَاف: 23]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al They said, “Our Lord, We have wronged our own souls. If you do not forgive us and do not bestow upon us Your mercy, we will certainly be lost.” |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad They both said: our Master, we did wrong to ourselves, and if you do not forgive us and have mercy on us, we shall be of the losers |
| Ali Quli Qarai They said, ‘Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves! If You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers.’ |
| Ali Unal They said (straightaway): "Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and do not have mercy on us, we will surely be among those who have lost |
| Hamid S Aziz They said, "O our Lord! We have wronged our own souls - and if you do not forgive us and have mercy on us, we shall surely be of those who are lost |
| John Medows Rodwell They said, "O our Lord! With ourselves have we dealt unjustly: if thou forgive us not and have pity on us, we shall surely be of those who perish |
| Literal They (B) said: "Our Lord, We caused injustice/oppressed ourselves, and if You do not forgive for us, and You have mercy upon us, we will be/become from the losers |
| Mir Anees Original They said, "Our Fosterer ! we have been unjust to ourselves and if You do not protectively forgive us and have mercy on us we will definitely be of those who are at loss |
