Quran with English translation - Surah Al-A‘raf ayat 73 - الأعرَاف - Page - Juz 8
﴿وَإِلَىٰ ثَمُودَ أَخَاهُمۡ صَٰلِحٗاۚ قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ ٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنۡ إِلَٰهٍ غَيۡرُهُۥۖ قَدۡ جَآءَتۡكُم بَيِّنَةٞ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡۖ هَٰذِهِۦ نَاقَةُ ٱللَّهِ لَكُمۡ ءَايَةٗۖ فَذَرُوهَا تَأۡكُلۡ فِيٓ أَرۡضِ ٱللَّهِۖ وَلَا تَمَسُّوهَا بِسُوٓءٖ فَيَأۡخُذَكُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 73]
﴿وإلى ثمود أخاهم صالحا قال ياقوم اعبدوا الله ما لكم من إله﴾ [الأعرَاف: 73]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al To the Thamud people We sent Salih, one of their own brothers. He said, “O my people, worship God, you have no other god but Him. And now there has come to you guidance from your Lord. This she-camel of God is a sign to you. So leave it to graze in God's earth, and let no harm come to it, or you will be seized with a terrible punishment |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And to (people of) Thamud (We sent) their brother Salih. He said: my people, serve God, you have no god other than Him, a clear proof has come to you from your Master, this is God’s female camel, as a sign for you, so leave her to eat in God’s earth and do not harm her otherwise a painful punishment takes you |
| Ali Quli Qarai And to [the people of] Thamud [We sent] Salih, their brother. He said, ‘O my people, worship Allah! You have no other god besides Him. There has certainly come to you a manifest proof from your Lord. This she-camel of Allah is a sign for you. Let her alone to graze [freely] in Allah’s land, and do not cause her any harm, for then you shall be seized by a painful punishment |
| Ali Unal And to (the people of) Thamud (We sent) their brother Salih. He said (conveying the same message): "O my people! Worship God alone: you have no deity other than Him. Assuredly a manifest proof has come to you from your Lord: this is a she-camel from God as a sign for you (of the truth of my Messengership). So leave her to pasture on God’s earth, and touch her with no harm lest a painful punishment should seize you |

He said, O my people! worship God: ye have no other god than Him: now hath a clear proof of my mission come to you from your Lord, this she-camel of God being a sign to you: therefore let her go at large to pasture on God's earth: and touch her not to harm her, lest a grievous chastisement seize you |
| Literal And to Thamud/a pre-Islamic Arab tribe that could have been in Hegaz, (We sent) their brother Saleh, he said: "My nation, worship God, (there) is no God for you from other than Him, an evidence had come to you from your Lord, this (is) God`s female camel for you (as) a sign/evidence , so leave it eat in God`s ground/earth/land, and do not touch it with evil/harm , so (then a) painful torture takes/punishes you |
| Mir Anees Original And to (the tribe of ) Samood (We had sent) their brother Salih. He said (to them), "O my people! serve Allah, you have no god other than Him, clear proof has indeed come to you from your Fosterer, this is the she-camel of Allah, a sign for you, so leave her to pasture in Allah's earth and do not touch her to harm (her), otherwise a painful punishment will seize you |
