Quran with English translation - Surah Al-Anfal ayat 47 - الأنفَال - Page - Juz 10
﴿وَلَا تَكُونُواْ كَٱلَّذِينَ خَرَجُواْ مِن دِيَٰرِهِم بَطَرٗا وَرِئَآءَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَيَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا يَعۡمَلُونَ مُحِيطٞ ﴾
[الأنفَال: 47]
﴿ولا تكونوا كالذين خرجوا من ديارهم بطرا ورئاء الناس ويصدون عن سبيل﴾ [الأنفَال: 47]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al And do not be like those who started from their homes arrogantly, to be seen of people, and to hinder people from the path of God, for God encompasses all that they do |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And do not be like those who came out of their houses boastfully and showing off to the people to obstruct God's way. God surrounds whatever they do |
| Ali Quli Qarai Do not be like those who left their homes vainly and to show off to the people, and to bar [other people] from the way of Allah, and Allah comprehends what they do |
| Ali Unal Be not like those (unbelievers) who went forth from their habitations swaggering boastfully and to show off to people, and bar (others) from God’s way. And God fully encompasses (with His Knowledge and Power) all that they do |
| Hamid S Aziz And be not like those who went forth from their homes with insolence, and for appearance sake before men, and to turn away people from the way of Allah, for Allah surrounds all things |
| John Medows Rodwell And be not like those Meccans who came out of their houses insolently and to be seen of men, and who turn others from the way of God: God is round about their actions |
| Literal And do not be as/like those who got out/emerged from their homes/houses ungratefully/arrogantly and showing off/pretending to the people , and they object/obstruct from God`s way/path , and God (is) with what they make/do surrounding/comprehending |
| Mir Anees Original And do not be like those who came out of their houses boastfully and to be seen by people and (who) turn away (people) from the way of Allah, and Allah is the Encompasser of what they do |
