﴿وَإِذَا مَآ أُنزِلَتۡ سُورَةٞ نَّظَرَ بَعۡضُهُمۡ إِلَىٰ بَعۡضٍ هَلۡ يَرَىٰكُم مِّنۡ أَحَدٖ ثُمَّ ٱنصَرَفُواْۚ صَرَفَ ٱللَّهُ قُلُوبَهُم بِأَنَّهُمۡ قَوۡمٞ لَّا يَفۡقَهُونَ ﴾
[التوبَة: 127]
﴿وإذا ما أنـزلت سورة نظر بعضهم إلى بعض هل يراكم من أحد﴾ [التوبَة: 127]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Whenever a Surah is revealed, they look at each other saying, “Does anyone see you?” Then they turn away, so God has turned their hearts away, for they are a people who do not understand |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And whenever a chapter is sent down, they look at each other (saying): does anyone see you? Then they turn away. God turned away their hearts because indeed they are a group who do not understand |
| Ali Quli Qarai Whenever a surah is sent down they look at one another: ‘Is anybody observing you?’ Then they slip away. Allah has turned aside their hearts, for they are a people who do not understand |
