﴿قَالُوٓاْ أَجِئۡتَنَا لِتَلۡفِتَنَا عَمَّا وَجَدۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ ءَابَآءَنَا وَتَكُونَ لَكُمَا ٱلۡكِبۡرِيَآءُ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا نَحۡنُ لَكُمَا بِمُؤۡمِنِينَ ﴾
[يُونس: 78]
﴿قالوا أجئتنا لتلفتنا عما وجدنا عليه آباءنا وتكون لكما الكبرياء في الأرض﴾ [يُونس: 78]
| Shabbir Ahmed They said, "Have you come to turn us away from our ancestral ways, and so that you two become prominent in the country? However, we will not believe in you two |
| Syed Vickar Ahamed They said: "Have you come to us to turn us away from the way (that) we found our fathers following— So that you two, (Musa) and your brother (Haroon) may have fame in the land? But we shall not believe in you |
