﴿۞ وَقَالَ نِسۡوَةٞ فِي ٱلۡمَدِينَةِ ٱمۡرَأَتُ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ تُرَٰوِدُ فَتَىٰهَا عَن نَّفۡسِهِۦۖ قَدۡ شَغَفَهَا حُبًّاۖ إِنَّا لَنَرَىٰهَا فِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٖ ﴾
[يُوسُف: 30]
﴿وقال نسوة في المدينة امرأة العزيز تراود فتاها عن نفسه قد شغفها﴾ [يُوسُف: 30]
Shabbir Ahmed Women in the city started gossiping, "The governor's wife is trying to seduce her servant. She is deeply in love with him. But we see that she adopted the wrong tactics |
Syed Vickar Ahamed And the (other) ladies from the city, said: "The wife of the (great lord) ‘Aziz is trying to seduce her young man (the slave) from his (true and noble) self: Truly he must have aroused strong love in her: Surely, we see clearly that she is going astray |
