﴿قَالَ لَمۡ أَكُن لِّأَسۡجُدَ لِبَشَرٍ خَلَقۡتَهُۥ مِن صَلۡصَٰلٖ مِّنۡ حَمَإٖ مَّسۡنُونٖ ﴾
[الحِجر: 33]
﴿قال لم أكن لأسجد لبشر خلقته من صلصال من حمإ مسنون﴾ [الحِجر: 33]
| Shabbir Ahmed He replied, "I am not one to bow to man whom You have created from sounding clay out of inorganic matter |
| Syed Vickar Ahamed (Satan) said:" I am not one to prostrate myself to man, (a mere human) whom You (Allah) created from sounding clay; From mud cast into shape |
| Talal A Itani New Translation He said, 'I am not about to prostrate myself before a human being, whom You created from clay, from molded mud |
| Talal Itani He said, “I am not about to prostrate myself before a human being, whom You created from clay, from molded mud.” |
| Tbirving He said: "I am no one to kneel before a human being You have created from ringing clay, from moulded slime |

| Wahiduddin Khan He replied, "I am not one to prostrate myself to a man whom You have created out of a clay of moulded mud |
