﴿وَلَنُذِيقَنَّهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ ٱلۡأَدۡنَىٰ دُونَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ ٱلۡأَكۡبَرِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَرۡجِعُونَ ﴾
[السَّجدة: 21]
﴿ولنذيقنهم من العذاب الأدنى دون العذاب الأكبر لعلهم يرجعون﴾ [السَّجدة: 21]
| Shabbir Ahmed And verily, We make (the violators of the Divine Law) taste the punishment closer at hand before the Greater punishment, so that they might return to righteousness |
| Syed Vickar Ahamed And verily, We will truly make them taste the Penalty in this (life even) before the supreme penalty, so that they may (repent and) return |
