﴿وَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ أَهَٰٓؤُلَآءِ ٱلَّذِينَ أَقۡسَمُواْ بِٱللَّهِ جَهۡدَ أَيۡمَٰنِهِمۡ إِنَّهُمۡ لَمَعَكُمۡۚ حَبِطَتۡ أَعۡمَٰلُهُمۡ فَأَصۡبَحُواْ خَٰسِرِينَ ﴾
[المَائدة: 53]
﴿ويقول الذين آمنوا أهؤلاء الذين أقسموا بالله جهد أيمانهم إنهم لمعكم حبطت﴾ [المَائدة: 53]
Shabbir Ahmed The believers will then wonder: "Are these the same people who swore by Allah that they were with the believers?" Eventually, all their deeds will go to waste and they will be great losers |
Syed Vickar Ahamed And, those who believe will say: "Are these, the (very) men who made their strongest promises by Allah, that they were with you?" All that they do will be useless, and they will fall into (nothing) but ruin |
