﴿قُلۡ إِنِّي نُهِيتُ أَنۡ أَعۡبُدَ ٱلَّذِينَ تَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِۚ قُل لَّآ أَتَّبِعُ أَهۡوَآءَكُمۡ قَدۡ ضَلَلۡتُ إِذٗا وَمَآ أَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلۡمُهۡتَدِينَ ﴾
[الأنعَام: 56]
﴿قل إني نهيت أن أعبد الذين تدعون من دون الله قل لا﴾ [الأنعَام: 56]
| Shabbir Ahmed Say, "I am forbidden to worship and obey on whom you call instead of Allah." Say, "I will not follow your desires, otherwise I will go astray and not be among the rightly guided |
| Syed Vickar Ahamed Say: "I am forbidden to worship those— Other than Allah— Whom you call upon." Say: "I will not follow your idle wishes: If I did, I would wander away from the Path, and (then I will) not be of the company of those who receive (true) guidance |
