﴿أَلَمۡ تَرَ كَيۡفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلۡفِيلِ ﴾
[الفِيل: 1]
﴿ألم تر كيف فعل ربك بأصحاب الفيل﴾ [الفِيل: 1]
| Abdel Haleem Do you [Prophet] not see how your Lord dealt with the army of the elephant |
| Abdul Hye Have you (O Muhammad) not seen how your Lord dealt with the owners of the elephant (The elephant army came under the command of Abraha, king of Yemen, who intended to destroy the Ka’bah at Makkah in the year of Muhammad’s year of birth) |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali Seest thou not how thy Lord dealt with the Companions of the Elephant |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi Hast thou not observed what wise thy Lord dealt with the fellows of the elephant |
