﴿وَٱلَّذِينَ يَنقُضُونَ عَهۡدَ ٱللَّهِ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مِيثَٰقِهِۦ وَيَقۡطَعُونَ مَآ أَمَرَ ٱللَّهُ بِهِۦٓ أَن يُوصَلَ وَيُفۡسِدُونَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمُ ٱللَّعۡنَةُ وَلَهُمۡ سُوٓءُ ٱلدَّارِ ﴾
[الرَّعد: 25]
﴿والذين ينقضون عهد الله من بعد ميثاقه ويقطعون ما أمر الله به﴾ [الرَّعد: 25]
| Abdel Haleem But there will be rejection for those who break their confirmed agreements made in God’s name, who break apart what God has commanded to be joined and who spread corruption on earth: theirs is the dreadful home |
| Abdul Hye Those who break the Covenant of Allah after its approval, sever what Allah has commanded to join (bond of kinship), and work mischief in the land; they are those for them is the curse and for them is the evil home |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali But those who break the Covenant of Allah, after having plighted their word thereto, and cut asunder those things which Allah has commanded to be joined, and work mischief in the land;- on them is the curse; for them is the terrible home |
