﴿وَأَرۡسَلۡنَا ٱلرِّيَٰحَ لَوَٰقِحَ فَأَنزَلۡنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءٗ فَأَسۡقَيۡنَٰكُمُوهُ وَمَآ أَنتُمۡ لَهُۥ بِخَٰزِنِينَ ﴾
[الحِجر: 22]
﴿وأرسلنا الرياح لواقح فأنـزلنا من السماء ماء فأسقيناكموه وما أنتم له بخازنين﴾ [الحِجر: 22]
| Abdel Haleem We send the winds to fertilize, and We bring down water from the sky for you to drink- you do not control its sources |
| Abdul Hye And We send the fertilizing winds (fill clouds with water), then causes the water (rain) to descend from the sky, gives it to you to drink, and it is not you who is able to store |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi And We send the winds fertilizing, then We send down water from the heaven and We give it to you to drink, and thereof ye could not be the treasurers |
| Ahmed Ali We send rain-impregnated winds, and water from the sky which you drink, but you are not the keepers of its store |
| Aisha Bewley We send forth the pollinating winds and send down water from the sky and give it to you to drink. And it is not you who keep its stores |
