﴿ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمُ ٱسۡتَحَبُّواْ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا عَلَى ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهۡدِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ ﴾
[النَّحل: 107]
﴿ذلك بأنهم استحبوا الحياة الدنيا على الآخرة وأن الله لا يهدي القوم﴾ [النَّحل: 107]
| Abdel Haleem This is because they love the life of this world more than the one to come, and God does not guide those who reject Him |
| Abdul Hye That is because they love and prefer the life of this world over that of the Hereafter. Allah does not guide the disbelievers |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali This because they love the life of this world better than the Hereafter: and Allah will not guide those who reject Faith |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi That is because they loved the life of the world above the Hereafter, and because Allah guideth not an infidel people |
| Ahmed Ali For they loved the life of this world more than the life to come; and God does not guide those who do not believe |
