﴿ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمُ ٱسۡتَحَبُّواْ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا عَلَى ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهۡدِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ ﴾
[النَّحل: 107]
﴿ذلك بأنهم استحبوا الحياة الدنيا على الآخرة وأن الله لا يهدي القوم﴾ [النَّحل: 107]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al This is because they love the life of the present better than the hereafter, and God will not guide those who do not believe |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad That is because they preferred this world's life over the hereafter, and that God does not guide the disbelieving people |
| Ali Quli Qarai That, because they preferred the life of the world to the Hereafter and that Allah does not guide the faithless lot |
| Ali Unal That is because they have chosen the present, worldly life in preference to the Hereafter, and because God does not guide the people of unbelief (to the way of true prosperity and Paradise) |
| Hamid S Aziz That is because they preferred the love of the life of this world to the Hereafter, and because Allah guides not unbelieving people |
| John Medows Rodwell This, because they have loved this present life beyond the next, and because God guideth not the unbelievers |
| Literal That (is) because they (E), they loved/liked the life the present world/worldly life more/over the end (other life), and that God does not guide the nation, the disbelieving |
