﴿وَيَوۡمَ نَبۡعَثُ فِي كُلِّ أُمَّةٖ شَهِيدًا عَلَيۡهِم مِّنۡ أَنفُسِهِمۡۖ وَجِئۡنَا بِكَ شَهِيدًا عَلَىٰ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِۚ وَنَزَّلۡنَا عَلَيۡكَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ تِبۡيَٰنٗا لِّكُلِّ شَيۡءٖ وَهُدٗى وَرَحۡمَةٗ وَبُشۡرَىٰ لِلۡمُسۡلِمِينَ ﴾
[النَّحل: 89]
﴿ويوم نبعث في كل أمة شهيدا عليهم من أنفسهم وجئنا بك شهيدا﴾ [النَّحل: 89]
| Abdel Haleem The day will come when We raise up in each community a witness against them, and We shall bring you [Prophet] as a witness against these people, for We have sent the Scripture down to you explaining everything, and as guidance and mercy and good news to those who devote themselves to God |
| Abdul Hye And (remember) the Day when We shall raise up a witness in every nation against them from amongst themselves. And We shall bring you (O Muhammad) as a witness against them. (For this reason) We have sent down to you the book (the Qur’an) as an explanation of everything, a guide, a Mercy, and glad tidings for the Muslims |
