﴿فَأَرَادَ أَن يَسۡتَفِزَّهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَأَغۡرَقۡنَٰهُ وَمَن مَّعَهُۥ جَمِيعٗا ﴾
[الإسرَاء: 103]
﴿فأراد أن يستفزهم من الأرض فأغرقناه ومن معه جميعا﴾ [الإسرَاء: 103]
| Abdel Haleem So he wanted to wipe them off the [face of the] earth, but We drowned him and those with him |
| Abdul Hye So he (Pharaoh) wanted to turn them out of the land (of Egypt). But We drowned him and all who were with him |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali So he resolved to remove them from the face of the earth: but We did drown him and all who were with him |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi Then he besought to unsettle them from the land; wherefore We drowned him and those with him, all together |
