﴿وَكَانَ يَأۡمُرُ أَهۡلَهُۥ بِٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَٱلزَّكَوٰةِ وَكَانَ عِندَ رَبِّهِۦ مَرۡضِيّٗا ﴾
[مَريَم: 55]
﴿وكان يأمر أهله بالصلاة والزكاة وكان عند ربه مرضيا﴾ [مَريَم: 55]
| Abdel Haleem He commanded his household to pray and give alms, and his Lord was well pleased with him |
| Abdul Hye And he used to command his family to establish prayer, give obligatory charity, and his Lord was pleased (with him) |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali He used to enjoin on his people Prayer and Charity, and he was most acceptable in the sight of his Lord |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi And he was wont to command his household to the Prayer and the poor-rate, and he was with his Lord an approved one |
| Ahmed Ali He enjoined on his household worship and zakat, and he was obedient to his Lord |
