﴿ٱلَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمۡوَٰلَهُمۡ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ لَا يُتۡبِعُونَ مَآ أَنفَقُواْ مَنّٗا وَلَآ أَذٗى لَّهُمۡ أَجۡرُهُمۡ عِندَ رَبِّهِمۡ وَلَا خَوۡفٌ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ يَحۡزَنُونَ ﴾
[البَقَرَة: 262]
﴿الذين ينفقون أموالهم في سبيل الله ثم لا يتبعون ما أنفقوا منا﴾ [البَقَرَة: 262]
| Abdel Haleem Those who spend their wealth in God’s cause, and do not follow their spending with reminders of their benevolence or hurtful words, will have their rewards with their Lord: no fear for them, nor will they grieve |
| Abdul Hye Those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah, and they don’t follow up what they spent with reminder of generosity or injure them (feeling of the recipients), their reward is with their Lord. There is no fear on them, nor shall they grieve |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali Those who spend their substance in the cause of Allah, and follow not up their gifts with reminders of their generosity or with injury,-for them their reward is with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi Those who expend their riches in the way of Allah and thereafter follow not that which they have expended with the laying of an obligation or with hurt, for them shall be their hire with their Lord; and no fear shall come on them, nor shall they grieve |
