﴿وَلَقَدۡ قَالَ لَهُمۡ هَٰرُونُ مِن قَبۡلُ يَٰقَوۡمِ إِنَّمَا فُتِنتُم بِهِۦۖ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ فَٱتَّبِعُونِي وَأَطِيعُوٓاْ أَمۡرِي ﴾
[طه: 90]
﴿ولقد قال لهم هارون من قبل ياقوم إنما فتنتم به وإن ربكم﴾ [طه: 90]
| Abdel Haleem Aaron did say to them, ‘My people, this calf is a test for you. Your true Lord is the Lord of Mercy, so follow me and obey my orders,’ |
| Abdul Hye And indeed Aaron had said to them before: “O my people! Only you are being tried with it, and surely, your Lord is the Gracious, so you follow me and obey my order.” |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali Aaron had already, before this said to them: "O my people! ye are being tested in this: for verily your Lord is (Allah) Most Gracious; so follow me and obey my command |
