﴿قَالُواْ لَن نَّبۡرَحَ عَلَيۡهِ عَٰكِفِينَ حَتَّىٰ يَرۡجِعَ إِلَيۡنَا مُوسَىٰ ﴾
[طه: 91]
﴿قالوا لن نبرح عليه عاكفين حتى يرجع إلينا موسى﴾ [طه: 91]
| Abdel Haleem but they replied, ‘We shall not give up our devotion to it until Moses returns to us.’ |
| Abdul Hye They said: “We will never stop worshipping it (the calf), until Moses returns to us.” |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali They had said: "We will not abandon this cult, but we will devote ourselves to it until Moses returns to us |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi They said: we shall by no means cease to be assiduous to it until there returneth to us Musa |
