﴿۞ وَمَن يَقُلۡ مِنۡهُمۡ إِنِّيٓ إِلَٰهٞ مِّن دُونِهِۦ فَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِيهِ جَهَنَّمَۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ﴾
[الأنبيَاء: 29]
﴿ومن يقل منهم إني إله من دونه فذلك نجزيه جهنم كذلك نجزي﴾ [الأنبيَاء: 29]
| Abdel Haleem If any of them were to claim, ‘I am a god beside Him,’ We would reward them with Hell: this is how We reward evildoers |
| Abdul Hye And if anyone of them should say: “Surely I am one worthy of worship besides Him,” then We would recompense to hell. Thus We recompense the wrongdoers |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali If any of them should say, "I am a god besides Him", such a one We should reward with Hell: thus do We reward those who do wrong |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi And whosoever of them should say: verily I am a god beside Him, such a one We shall requite with Hell; Thus We requite the wrong- doers |
| Ahmed Ali If any one of them said: "I am God besides Him," We should award him Hell; for this is how We requite the evil-doers |
| Aisha Bewley Were any of them to say, ´I am a god apart from Him,´ We would repay him with Hell. That is how We repay wrongdoers |
