﴿مَآ ءَامَنَتۡ قَبۡلَهُم مِّن قَرۡيَةٍ أَهۡلَكۡنَٰهَآۖ أَفَهُمۡ يُؤۡمِنُونَ ﴾
[الأنبيَاء: 6]
﴿ما آمنت قبلهم من قرية أهلكناها أفهم يؤمنون﴾ [الأنبيَاء: 6]
| Abdel Haleem But of the communities We destroyed before them not a single one believed. Will these now believe |
| Abdul Hye Not one town (people) before them believed (though Allah sent signs), which We destroyed. Will they then believe |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali (As to those) before them, not one of the populations which We destroyed believed: will these believe |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi Not a city before them which We destroyed believed; will they then believe |
