﴿مَآ ءَامَنَتۡ قَبۡلَهُم مِّن قَرۡيَةٍ أَهۡلَكۡنَٰهَآۖ أَفَهُمۡ يُؤۡمِنُونَ ﴾
[الأنبيَاء: 6]
﴿ما آمنت قبلهم من قرية أهلكناها أفهم يؤمنون﴾ [الأنبيَاء: 6]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Before them, not one of the populations that We caused to perish believed. Will these believe |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad We destroyed towns that did not believe before them, so do they believe |
| Ali Quli Qarai No town that We destroyed before them believed. Will these then have faith [if they are sent signs] |
| Ali Unal Not one of the peoples before them that We destroyed believed (even though the Messengers came to them with miracles). Will then these believe |
| Hamid S Aziz Of those before them not one of the communities which We destroyed believed, how will these believe |
| John Medows Rodwell Before their time, none of the cities which we have destroyed, believed: will these men, then, believe |
| Literal None from a village/urban city before them believed, (that) We made it die/destroyed it , so are they believing |
