﴿بَلۡ قُلُوبُهُمۡ فِي غَمۡرَةٖ مِّنۡ هَٰذَا وَلَهُمۡ أَعۡمَٰلٞ مِّن دُونِ ذَٰلِكَ هُمۡ لَهَا عَٰمِلُونَ ﴾
[المؤمنُون: 63]
﴿بل قلوبهم في غمرة من هذا ولهم أعمال من دون ذلك هم﴾ [المؤمنُون: 63]
| Abdel Haleem But the disbelievers’ hearts are steeped [in ignorance of ] all this; and there are other things besides this that they do |
| Abdul Hye But their hearts are covered from (understanding) this (the Qur’an) and for them are other evil deeds besides what they are doing |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali But their hearts are in confused ignorance of this; and there are, besides that, deeds of theirs, which they will (continue) to do |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi Aye! their hearts are in bewilderment in respect thereof, and they have works beside that, of which they are workers |
| Ahmed Ali Yet their hearts are oblivious of this; and besides, they are busy with other things |
| Aisha Bewley However, their hearts are overwhelmed by ignorance about this matter and they do other things as well |
| A. J. Arberry Nay, but their hearts are in perplexity as to this, and they have deeds besides that that they are doing |
| Ali Quli Qarai Rather their hearts are in a stupor in regard to this, and there are their other deeds besides which they perpetrate |
