﴿وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَشۡهَدُونَ ٱلزُّورَ وَإِذَا مَرُّواْ بِٱللَّغۡوِ مَرُّواْ كِرَامٗا ﴾
[الفُرقَان: 72]
﴿والذين لا يشهدون الزور وإذا مروا باللغو مروا كراما﴾ [الفُرقَان: 72]
| Abdel Haleem [The servants of the Lord of Mercy are] those who do not give false testimony, and who, when they see some frivolity, pass by with dignity |
| Abdul Hye And those who don’t bear witness to falsehood, and if they pass by some evil play or evil talk, they pass by with dignity |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali Those who witness no falsehood, and, if they pass by futility, they pass by it with honourable (avoidance) |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi And those who witness not falsehood, and when they pass by some vanity pass by with dignity |
| Ahmed Ali And those who do not give false evidence, and if they come across unbecoming talk ignore it and pass by in a sedate way |
