﴿وَجَحَدُواْ بِهَا وَٱسۡتَيۡقَنَتۡهَآ أَنفُسُهُمۡ ظُلۡمٗا وَعُلُوّٗاۚ فَٱنظُرۡ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ ﴾
[النَّمل: 14]
﴿وجحدوا بها واستيقنتها أنفسهم ظلما وعلوا فانظر كيف كان عاقبة المفسدين﴾ [النَّمل: 14]
| Abdel Haleem They denied them, in their wickedness and their pride, even though their souls acknowledged them as true. See how those who spread corruption met their end |
| Abdul Hye They rejected them (Verses) wrongfully and arrogantly, though their own selves were convinced of them. So see how was the end of the evil-doers |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali And they rejected those Signs in iniquity and arrogance, though their souls were convinced thereof: so see what was the end of those who acted corruptly |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi And they gainsaid them, out of spite and arrogance, although their souls were convinced thereof. So behold! what hath been the end of the corruptors |
