﴿وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَيۡنَا دَاوُۥدَ وَسُلَيۡمَٰنَ عِلۡمٗاۖ وَقَالَا ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي فَضَّلَنَا عَلَىٰ كَثِيرٖ مِّنۡ عِبَادِهِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ ﴾
[النَّمل: 15]
﴿ولقد آتينا داود وسليمان علما وقالا الحمد لله الذي فضلنا على كثير﴾ [النَّمل: 15]
| Abdel Haleem We gave knowledge to David and Solomon, and they both said, ‘Praise be to God, who has favoured us over many of His believing servants.’ |
| Abdul Hye And indeed We gave knowledge to David and Solomon, and they said: “All the praises are to Allah, Who has preferred us above many of His believing servants!” |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali We gave (in the past) knowledge to David and Solomon: And they both said: "Praise be to Allah, Who has favoured us above many of his servants who believe |
